Steve and Paula Chapman have been starting, building and running small businesses together for over 40 years.
Steve has over 12 years in marketing communications support. He has worked for several agencies managing client marketing and advertising accounts with national/international and local companies like Black& Decker, CitiBank, Xerox Corp. Bausch & Lomb and Kodak. He has had his own 3 person marketing agency. Steve and Paula developed and ran XpressMarketing, a one-stop communication and digital printing production service which became Short-Order Marketing Associates – a specialty print and logistics support business they continue to run together. Steve also served as President of the Rochester Professional Consultants Network, a 175 member organization in Rochester NY.
Paula spent over 8 years in field and corporate sales with the Microsoft Corp. She was recognized as Microsoft Field Sales Representative of the Year in 1992 and was responsible for creating and implementing a national incubator initiative for the company in 1991. Paula has also held national sales and marketing positions with several technology focused businesses including: Entex Information Services and The Rochester Group. Paula has also held executive management positions with the Rochester, NY Chapter of NAWBO (the National Association of Women Business Owners) and has worked with the SBA – SCORE organization supporting new women business owners.
Our greatest desire is to share the experiences, knowledge and skills we have spent 40 years collecting. Our goals are:
